Last year was a wonderful year for us, especially since we were chosen to supply frozen ‘thaw and serve’ breads to the Olympics’ and Paralympics’ caterers. As you can imagine it was a massive project, billed as the biggest peacetime catering event since WW2, and we couldn’t have asked for a better forum in which to spreads the good word that ‘frozen is best’.

Our speciality breads were enjoyed by the athletes, officials and VIPs at the main Stratford Olympic Village, the prestigious Eton Dorny rowing venue and at Weymouth where the sailing competitions took place. And we were absolutely delighted about the positive feedback we received. ARAMARK, the company that has handled the catering for every Olympics since the 1968 Mexico games, were extremely complimentary. This is what they said:

It’s great to know our artisan breads helped create so many winners in 2012, supporting unprecedented levels of human endurance and helping feed everyone’s determination to do their very best. Many thanks again to the organisers for giving us the opportunity to shine!
